4 day Skye and Lochalsh
Mòr (Grand) tour
As Taisgealaidh (Discovery) tour plus…
The Mòr (Grand) tour will take us to our favourite beach and coastal scenes on the island with visits to the striking coastline at Neist Point Lighthouse and the dreamy, edge of the world Claigan Coral Beach via the quaint, ancient village of Dunvegan and its historic castle and grounds.
Neist Point Lighthouse, established 1909 by the famous Stevenson family, is set upon the cliffs on the westernmost point of Skye. Here we’ll follow the contours of the cliffs as we make our way towards this incredible landmark, looking out for nesting fulmars and over to the Hebrides and Atlantic lying west.
At Dunvegan village we’ll take lunch before heading to the historic Dunvegan Castle, built in the 13th century and the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland at over 800 years, and ancestral seat of Clan MacLeod. Here we’ll enjoy a tour of the castle grounds and gardens before a gentle boat trip to admire the resident seal colony.
We’ll then head to one of Skye’s most beautiful beaches, Claigan Coral Beach, on the Waternish Peninsula. Here on the north-west shore of Loch Dunvegan, we’ll share one of the most picturesque scenes on the island; a crescent moon shaped white beach of a most unusual sand set against the Outer Hebridean Islands in the distance. Here we’ll picnic, rest and enjoy the views. And should we take the notion, to jump into the ocean, we very well may do!

5 Day Skye, Lochalsh, and Canna
Rannsaiche (Explorer) tour
As Mòr (Grand) tour plus…
From Armadale in Skye’s south we’ll hop aboard the “Big Dipper” which will carry us safely, swiftly and out of the weather to the stunning, historic Isle of Canna in the Small Isles. We’ll explore the ancient clan and viking history of the Small Isles and Canna, the incredible and diverse ecology, and marvel at the charming, handsome puffins (puffins at Canna May – July). We’ll enjoy a 4 hour trip out on the water with a 1.5 hour stop on Canna to explore this gorgeous National Trust owned island. We’ll get familiar with the island’s heritage and story whilst keeping a keen eye out for the island’s resident Golden and White-Tailed Sea Eagles.
Whilst on board the “Big Dipper” we’ll be keeping a sharp lookout for the abundant and awe-inspiring wildlife that blesses this Atlantic coastal/island environment. Common/Bottlenose Dolphins, Porpoises, and Minke whales are regularly sighted during these outings along with a vast array of seabirds, including Manx Shearwaters, Shags, Fulmars, Gannets and many more…

What Our Guests Say
EXCELLENT Based on 3 reviews Posted on Google Martin KaulfussTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I spent 5 terrific days with Jonny at the end of last season, 2025. Including 2 days out on the boat with his old work. As a double lower limb amputee, everything was discussed with me before the trips, with safe options given to me, e.g. regarding transfering on and off the boat. potential uneven grounds, slopes, small hills. Jonny took the greatest care of me and made sure any obstacles were overcome. Jonnys knowledge of the area, its wildlife and history is terrific. As a guide, he's a pleasure to be around. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins with little ones when we were out on the Canna trip, which was beautiful. Very much look forward to doing another trip this summer with a few friends. Highly reccomend.Posted on Google electroTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the pleasure of being hosted and guided by Jonathan for 4 days, July ‘24, whilst he skippered in Skye and the Small Isles. I wanted to honour my late father’s wish of having his ashes scattered in the waters under the Cuillin and can honestly say the experience was one of the most memorable and magical of my life. The weather was glorious, and being out on the boat with Jonathan’s knowledge of local wildlife, history, and the best hidden spots was an absolute joy. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe and in capable hands. Jonathan was very sensitive and respectful, made me feel comfortable, and was the perfect guide. I can't recommend this experience enough... Unforgettable! 'Posted on Google Catalina de los Ángeles Jiménez EberlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
